Read part one here. It’s time to finish that tarot reading! What we saw, last time, was a nighmarish hellscape of loveless desolation, and the addled young man convinced an alien will save us from ourselves. We already saw that’s our job, and our young man gave up the thing that would have allowed him to help.
The results of a quick Twitter poll saw Ziggy Stardust win over Sgt. Pepper’s and Led Zeppelin: 4. So that means we’re going to do a tarot reading for Ziggy! That probably won’t be weird at all. I’ll be using the Alchemical Tarot. The artist, Robert M. Place, actually sells this deck himself. And his website has small scans of every single card. Check that out here.
Apparently it came as a surprise (at least to someone) when I mentioned, in my about page, that I’m a practicing chaos magician. So. I am. There you are. I’m writing today not to talk about that generally but to talk about the practice of invocation specifically, and how it can be useful to you — as well as how it’s useful to dealing with stories and symbols.
